Application information is available at the Graduate School web site (http://www.gradsch.uga.edu/admissions/). 

Deadlines for Fall Applications:
January 1 for full consideration for fellowships and teaching assistantships

Applications will continue to be accepted through April 15 for international students and July 1 for U.S. students

Application materials to be sent to the Graduate School:

1) Application (an on-line application is available at: http://www.gradsch.uga.edu/admissions/

2) Application fee

3) Official GRE scores

4) Official transcripts for all college and post-college institutions attended

5)  Foreign student credentials (if applicable)

Application materials required to be sent to the Department of Marine Sciences: (mail to: Graduate Coordinator, Department of Marine Sciences, University of Georgia, Athens, GA 30602-3636).

1) Three letters of recommendation (recommendation forms are provided in the Graduate School application)

2) Department Information Form (available as a pdf file or request a paper copy from gradmar@uga.edu)

3) Statement of purpose (describe your motivations for attending graduate school in the Department of Marine Sciences and your career goals; <1 page)
